Join experts David Campbell and Norman Andresen for the Napa Truffle Festival: Wild Mushroom Foray for the 3rd Session an exciting adventure in the woods above Napa Valley, where you’ll search for wild mushrooms during peak season. This year’s foray features limited group sizes, ensuring personal attention in groups of up to five guests. Participants will receive a copy of A Field Guide to Edible Mushrooms of California to take home.

Before venturing into nature, enjoy delicious truffle quiche bites made with fresh black truffles. Learn the basics of mushroom identification, handling, and cooking techniques, and you can keep any mushrooms you find! Past forays have uncovered prized varieties like chanterelles and matsutakes, along with beautiful non-edible species.

Please note that mushroom availability depends on natural conditions, and participants should wear appropriate gear. This event is led by the Bay Area Poison Control Center’s go-to mushroom expert, David Campbell.

Cakebread Cellars invites you to savor the vibrant flavors of New Orleans with a hands-on cooking experience inspired by the Big Easy. Led by chefs Brian Streeter and Josh Anderson, this class takes you through the preparation of Southern-inspired favorites, from oysters Rockefeller and crab cakes to BBQ shrimp & grits and rich chocolate-praline bread pudding.
