Markham Vineyards kicks off the Mark My Words – Author Talk series featuring local author, tour guide, and historian Ralph DeAmicis. Ralph will discuss his new book, Wine Country In Shorts: The Stories of Napa and Sonoma. With over three decades of experience chronicling Napa Valley’s history, Ralph will share fascinating tales of the region, including the significant role of Markham Vineyards’ historic 1879 stone cellar.

Following the talk, guests will enjoy a lively Q&A session, followed by a wine and cheese reception and a book signing with Ralph. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about Napa and Sonoma’s rich history from an expert and engage with the author. Tickets must be purchased by April 21st. In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, Inspire Napa Valley hosts a three-day event from April 25 to April 27 to raise funds for Alzheimer’s research, care, and support services. Since 2018, the event has raised over $7.5 million. Guests will mingle with Napa Valley’s top vintners and winemakers, including Honorary Committee members Ray Isle, Antonio Galloni, and Bettina Bryant.

The event kicks off with a VIP Welcome Dinner at Inglenook featuring rare wines and a wine country feast. Saturday includes a wine tasting seminar at Beringer Vineyards, followed by the main event at Louis Martini Winery with over 35 wineries and a live auction. The weekend wraps up with a VIP farewell brunch at Ad Hoc in Yountville, offering Chef Thomas Keller’s fried chicken and waffles, along with a mimosa bar.
